Once upon a La La Land

She closes her eyes, and there the pain was. There's too much pain she can't put in words. She holds the pain of the planet in her heart. For everything that happened, for everything that is happening, for everything that will be happening. She can feel the clock ticking and taking her away with time. She goes back and forth between the past and the future, lost in the present with too many broken pieces stitched in her heart. She's trying to reach her broom just to fly. But the broom is trapped and her closed eyes won't take her to the sky and beyond. She's trying so hard to cry, but it's not working. She keeps closing her eyes... Why is she in so much pain... She's trying, for real she's trying, but every time she wakes up she's still here and only her feelings traveling between her brain regions... Her brain is screaming with words she can't even say... The clock keeps ticking and she falls asleep, and for some hours, her senses are shut, her heart keeps beating and she lives in her dreams, in her La La Land

Once upon a La La Land, there was no notion of time, she knew only about units of existence. And existence was graceful and bright. Silence roamed in the white fuzzy clouds. Peace. And love. Love filling the empty space in between the particles... And she was energy, free as light...

But every morning, she wakes up again, knowing that each and every individual live in pain day and night. She's not the only one who's holding panic attacks every night and fighting to breath... And when she thinks of that, she puts  herself in everyone else's shoes and her pain is multiplied. She's feeling each heart as her own and can't help cursing this life that's breaking and mending each and everyone...

Lucky are those who have a person. A safe person whom they can speak to and rely on. With whom they're safe and happy. With whom they can be their true selves..
